Zina Marie Wright, 99, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015.
Zina was born on October 28, 1915, to George Washington and Alice Mae (Stoleberger) Cochran in Sharon, Kansas. Zina married Robert Ulysses Wright on June 2, 1934. He passed away on April 22, 1990. Zina was a member of Eastern Star for 70 years, the Isabella Weldin Chapter of DAR and First Christian Church. Zina was a housewife who loved making jewelry, doing crochet, playing the organ and traveling.
Zina is survived by her daughter Suzanne Mathes from Sterling, Kansas and one granddaughter, Michelle Brown from Kansas City.
Zina was preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister Lucille Avis King and brother Glenn Floyd Cochran.
No visitation is planned. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Augusta, KS. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, Kansas.
The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made to First Christian Church, in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
