West, William "Bill" Franklin, 54 years old, a former factory and steel worker passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010.

Bill was born in San Jose, California on October 31, 1955 to William Albert West Jr. and Arvella Porter-Garcia West.

Bill was a lover of music and an excellent guitar player. He was a member of the Augusta Church of Christ and also a sponsor of the Emporia Avenue Multiple Sclerosis Freedom Fighters.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and a brother Steven West. Bill leaves to morn his passing a daughter and son-in-law Sydney and Len West-Carnall of Augusta; and a son Matt West of Wichita; and one grandchild Shadow Eliase Carnall.

A memorial has been established for the services of William West in care of the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held at the Augusta Church of Christ, 3500 Ohio on Sunday, May 2, from 2 to 4 p.m.
