Belford, Wilfred "Willie" James, 63, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 6, 2014, at his home in Augusta, Kansas.

Wilfred was born May 25, 1950, to Alfred and Alice (White) Belford in El Dorado, Kansas. Wilfred attended Augusta High School. Wilfred was united in marriage to Shirley Bradley on August 24, 1974, in Augusta, Kansas. Wilfred worked in construction and was a former employee for Richie Paving. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Wilfred enjoyed television and Publishers Clearing House.

Viewing will be held Monday, February 10, from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 11, at 10:30 a.m. both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.

Survivors include his spouse, Shirley Belford of Augusta, Kansas; son Troy and wife Mackenzie Belford of Orfordville, Wisconsin. Wilfred is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 nephew.

A memorial has been established in his name with Dunsford Funeral Home.
