Wanda Louise Maggard, 89, passed away on November 8, 2017.

Wanda was born on February 9, 1928 in El Dorado, Kansas to Earl and Sara Viola Manning.  Wanda was married to Samuel Aaron Maggard.  Wanda had previously worked at Wesley Hospital as a Nurse's Aide.  She later worked at Burger King.  Wanda was also a homemaker.  She had attended college at 75 years old and received a Medical Transcription diploma.  She loved cooking, sewing, the outdoors, and playing computer games.  She very much loved her family and her dogs Rusty and Nicky.  Wanda was a kind and loving woman to everyone.

Wanda is survived by her son David Lee Maggard of Augusta; daughter Mary Lou Geraldine Maggard of  Bemidji, MN; grandchildren Melody (Tracy) Thompson, Michelle (Alyshia) Mitchell, Justin (Lena) Maggard, Erin (Lafe) Kern, William David Davis II; great-grandchildren Sterling, Lexus, Victoria & family, Jerrod, Morgan, Desmond, Aleesa, Brendon, Mary, Lucy; great-great-grandchild Raydon; sister Evelyn Ruth Reisch of Oregon, and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel and great-great-granddaughter Serenity.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10th from 5-7 p.m..  Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 11th, at 2 p.m. both at the Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to American Cancer Society, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
