Kinsey, Walter Arnold 97, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, Kansas.
Visitation with family greeting friends be held Monday, February 20, from 9-10:00 a.m. with his funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. both at Haverhill Christian Church in Augusta. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon in Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka.
Walter was born on January 10, 1915, to Fred and Hattie (Matlock) Kinsey in Quincy, Kansas. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII and married NeVerl Florence Wheeler on May 5, 1946, in Hamilton, Kansas. They lived in Eureka and Reece, Kansas and in 1950 they moved to Farmington, New Mexico. Walter worked in body shops for forty-two years. In 1994 Walter and NeVerl moved to El Dorado to be closer to their families.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years NeVerl of Eureka and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Marion, Leo "Pete" and John Kinsey and his sister Ann English.
