Vivian "Gail" Scovell, 85, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019.

Gail was born on December 14, 1933, to Scott and Vera (Hill) King in Bloomington Township, Kansas. She had graduated from Leon High School.  Gail married Lloyd Scovell on April 2, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas.  She had previously worked at the Wichita Water Company, the Fleming Company and Augusta IGA.  Gail enjoyed cooking, embroidery, and leather tooling.  She also loved spending time with her family.

Gail is survived by her son Roger and wife Kerri Scovell of Haysville, Kansas; daughter Cathy and husband Rex Reed of Papillion, Nebraska; sister Marjorie Woodall, grandchildren Shawna Scovell, Christopher and Christie Reed; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; husband Buddy; and sisters Faye, Bessie, Evelyn, and Betty.

A Celebration of Life for both Gail and her husband Buddy will be held at the Andover Senior Center on Saturday, February 9 ^th, from noon to 1:30.  The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
