Augusta, KS - Violet Irene Crowe, 93, Homemaker and Family Matriarch, passed back into the arms of her loving husband on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

Violet dedicated her life to her family and never asked for anything in return.  She raised multiple generations, passing her wisdom, kindness and generosity on to each person who stepped into her life.

Violet is survived by her two sons, John (Martha) and Larry; four grandchildren, Jeremy Burris, Shauna Dwyer, Cara Schlickau and Brayden Crowe; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dwyer, Bryin Dwyer, Ayla Hynes and Paige Prince; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.I. and Valara Norton, her brother Tom Norton, her sister Virginia Johnson, her husband John S. Crowe, her daughter Vickie Burris and many friends.

Violet's family will celebrate her life on Monday, February 3rd, 2020.

Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3rd, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
