Obituary

Augusta – Timothy "Tim" Allen Putnam, 65, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Tim was born on Thursday, August 2, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Lowell Ray and Donna Louise (Mabry) Putnam.  He had worked as a brick mason, fence contractor, and frame builder.  Tim had a talent for stone masonry and hand collected stone across Butler County for several of his projects.

He loved fishing and being a steward for the river on his parent's property - it was favorite place.  Tim prided himself on having permission to fish hidden away ponds across the Flint Hills and was a regular at the Augusta City Lake fishing pier.  He also enjoyed looking for arrowheads in freshly plowed fields and had amassed a large collection of Native American artifacts.  Tim was very proud of family, especially his daughter and grandsons; he looked forward to every opportunity to spend time with them.

Timothy is survived by his mother Donna Putnam of Augusta; his daughter Reanna Putnam (Brent Pease) and grandsons Arlo and Ira of Carbondale, IL; and his sister Jan (Greg) Bauer of Wichita.

Timothy is preceded in death by his father Lowell Putnam.

No public memorial is planned.  The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the WildTrust of the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home, to support outdoor access and wildlife conservation.
