Thomas (Tom) Neal Pittman, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 8th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

Tom was born on May 24, 1945 in Winfield, Kansas.  His parents, Floyd Henry and Guadalupe Bernice (Gonzales) Pittman were overjoyed to bring home their sweet boy.

Tom graduated from Augusta High School in 1963.  He went on to study Art at Wichita State University.

Tom was a veteran of the United States Army, SPC5, having served in Vietnam.

He retired from Mobil Pipeline in the late 80's.   He was an accomplished artist and has works on display at the Augusta Museum, Fort Bragg, and the VA Administration in Wichita.

Tom was a loving father and is survived by his children, Thomas (Jennifer) Pittman II of Augusta, Jerry (Heather) Nesler of Tuscola, TX, Kelly Patterson of Augusta, Newton (Brandy) Pittman of Dallas, TX, Eric Pittman of Austin, TX, Stepson Raj Nassar of Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers Steve (Pichaporn) Pittman of Augusta, Jeff Pittman of Fall River, KS.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Andrew Charles Pittman.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Memorial donations in leu of flowers may be made out to the Augusta Historical Museum and left in care of Dunsford Funeral Home.
