Tamra Jo Downs, 66, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Tamra was born on Monday, October 26, 1959 in Great Bend, Kansas to Ervin and Janet (Holland) Neighbors.

Tamra was united in marriage to Robert Downs on August 11, 1989. They were married for 36 years until Tamra's passing.

Tamra worked as a paralegal for over 30 years in the Wichita area.

Tamra enjoyed spending her time dancing, shopping, taking trips to Mexico, and working in her garden. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially giving her husband and kids a hard time.

Tamra is survived by her husband Bob of Augusta; children, Autumn (Rick) Altum of Newton, KS, Adam Smith of Towanda, KS, Ashley (Danny) Rhodes of Newton, KS, Cody Downs of Wichita, KS, and Christina (Tevin) Kendall of Wichita, KS; step-son, Sean (Chastity) Downs; grandchildren, Tavia Poulos, Justice Grant, Briar Grant, Cadence Altum, Brayden Downs, Aubrey Downs, Bailey Rhodes, Adriel Downs, and Taylen Kendall; great-grandchild, Verity Poulos; and sister, Sheila Smith of Great Bend, KS.

Tamra is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amber; sisters, Rickie and Sherri.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th at 10 a.m. With funeral Service starting at 11 a.m. both at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
