Barbee, Susan Marie (Hayes), 49, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Ribordy home in Augusta.

Susan was born January 11, 1964, to Norman Larry and Norma June (Simpson) Hayes in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1985.

Her survivors include her husband, Glenn Barbee of Nashville, Tennessee; her best friends and caregivers, Jeff and Robin Ribordy of Augusta; step-father William "Bill" Greeve of Topeka, Kansas; brother Daniel Hayes of Wiggins, Mississippi; nieces and nephews, Jason, J.D. and Payton Lee, Kasey, Michael, Seth, Kolton, Kolby, Daniel, Karla, Sarah, Makayla and Kyleigh Ribordy, and Solomon Leach.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Barbee and a brother, David Greeve.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Haverhill Christian Church.

A memorial has been established with Haverhill Christian Church, 10275 SW Haverhill Road, Augusta, Kansas 67010. or in care of the funeral home.
