Stephen P. Wade, 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Stephen was born on Sunday, August 18, 1946 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Hedrick and Esteline (Winfrey) Wade.

Stephen was united in marriage to Carmen Hall on January 15, 1966. They were married for over 58 years until Stephen's passing.

Stephen worked as a farmer and a landlord for many years.

Stephen enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling with his wife, and being with his family.

Stephen is survived by his wife; son, Paul (Carmen) Wade of Wichita, KS; daughter, Carrie Wade of Parsons, KS; grandchildren, Emma, Clara, Samual, Aubrey, Zane; and sister, Marian Foreman of Spring, TX.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service service to be held Derfelt's Funeral Home (328 E 12th St. Baxter Springs, KS 66713) on Saturday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m.
