Walther, Sarah Emirine (Belford), 89, St. Joseph nurse aide, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Lakepoint of El Dorado.
She was born in rural Butler County on July 21, 1920 to James and Ida (Stephens) Belford. She married Louis Walther in Los Angeles in 1944.
Survivors include her son Charles (Charlene) Walther of Towanda; 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; son Lynn Walther; brothers Raymond and Alfred Belford; sisters Nellie Colburn and Lucille Ades.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service in Indianola Cemetery on Friday, March 19, at 2:00 p.m.
Memorial established with Hospice Care of Kansas in care of the funeral home.
