Sandra Sue Rufener, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Sandra was born on Tuesday, August 15, 1950 in Wichita, KS to Bob and Novelle (Keyes) Billington. Sandra was united in marriage to Robin Rufener on October 10th, 1985 in Marion, KS. They were married for 37 Years until Sandra's passing. Sandra worked as a nurse for 31 years until her retirement. Sandra enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband, she enjoyed watching auto racing and going to the rodeos.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Robin of Augusta; sons, Robert Woodard (Heather) of Augusta; Patrick Demmitt (Sharon) of Burlingame, KS; Kris Billington of Saint Charles,MI; her mother, Novelle of Emporia,KS, Sharon Burton (Delwin) of Emporia, KS, Robin Brown (Jerry) of Emporia, Dean Keyes (Cathy) of Oklahoma. Her 8 grandkids, 2 great grandkids, and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her Dad and sister, Sheila Lawrence.

Graveside visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 8-10 a.m. with the service starting at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
