Augusta – Ruth Marie Manning, 95, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

Ruth was born on Monday, April 27, 1925 in Udall, Kansas to Cecil A. and Emma Pearl (Ashworth) Busch.  Ruth was united in marriage to Dwight Lee Manning on May 16, 1945 at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.  Together they had four children; Joyce (John) Daigh of Augusta, Ronald (Pam) Manning of West Virginia, Dwaine Manning (Dianne Rollins) of Colorado, and Mary Walker (Rick Ekum) of Augusta.

Ruth is survived by her daughters Joyce and Mary, sons Ronald and Dwaine, 10 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, Lawrence (Ellen) Busch of Arkansas, her last surviving sibling, and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Emma Pearl Busch, siblings Emma Noland, Bernice Spivey, John Busch, Lois Hagebusch, 1 great-granddaughter, 2 great-great grandchildren, step-daughter Laura Mae Bentley and step-grandson Gary Bentley.  Ruth lost her beloved husband Dwight two days before their 45 ^th Wedding Anniversary in May of 1985.

Visitation with family will be on Sunday, June 7 ^th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9 ^th at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery also in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to St. James Catholic Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
