El Dorado - Ruth Mary Gilbert, 88, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
Ruth was born Friday, September 11, 1931 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas to Harry Sr. and Margaret (Fillmore) Pendergraft. Ruth was united in marriage to Carl Gilbert on July, 15, 1953. Ruth enjoyed crocheting and spending time in her garden.
Ruth is survived by her daughters Mary Wheeler of El Dorado, Carla Gilbert of Peck; grandchildren Sara and husband Joshua Andrews of El Dorado, Tyler Gilbert of Manhattan; 6 great-grandchildren; her brother Harry and wife Waneta Pendergraft Jr. of Cottonwood Falls.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, and her grandson Robert Wheeler II.
Private family services are scheduled for a later date.
