Whittaker, Rosemary (Carter) 88, homemaker, passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Cottonwood Point of Augusta.

Rosemary was born January 14, 1924, in Bridgeport, Illinois to Charles Edward and Gladys Marie (Burns) Carter. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and married Donald Lee Whittaker on November 30, 1946, also in Bridgeport. To this union they had three children Randall, Rebecca, and Sarah.
Donald and Rosemary loved to travel and Rosemary was active in many church choirs and altar societies at several Catholic churches in the many places they resided.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald of almost 64 years; her two sisters, Patricia Cunningham and Elaine Wright.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Randall and Regna Whittaker of Augusta, Kansas; two daughters and their husbands, Rebecca and Steve Enzinger of Corpus Christi, Texas and Sarah and David Malzewski of Brookfield, Wisconsin; two grandsons, Samuel and Trevor Malzewski both of Brookfield, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews around the country.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
