Rosa Lee Brown, 65, passed away Saturday, March 8th, 2025.
With rejoicing and sorrow in our hearts, we share that Rosa Lee Scott, was called to her heavenly home on March 8, 2025.
She was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Alisha Hope Smith, and a steadfast champion for her son(-in-law) Nicholas Smith. She found immense joy in the love she shared with her granddaughter, Charis Hope Smith, and her grandson(-in-law), Miguel Adame. Rosa cherished her precious daughter and granddaughter, treasuring every moment she spent with them. Whether talking, watching movies, shooting guns, or enjoying trips to the nail salon, she found deep joy in their company. She was grateful for the men who loved them, knowing that her daughter and granddaughter would always be well cared for.
Born in Vago, West Virginia to Dover Thomas Scott and Bessie Leah Ryder, Rosa's childhood was full of love and adventure. It was during this time that she found her love for the outdoors that remained with her throughout her life. She found peace and fulfillment in fishing, going on walks, and tending to her flowers. Rosa had a special place in her heart for animals too. She especially treasured her blue heelers -Buddy, Boaz, and Hannah- who brought her great companionship. She had a deep love for music, finding contentment in both listening to her favorite songs and building her album collection.
Most important was her relationship with God- her Father. She proclaimed Him as her Lord and Savior describing Him as grand and majestic. Now, she worships in His glorious presence for eternity.
