Ronald "Ron" Eugene Dehart, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Ron was born on Tuesday, February 27, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas to Luther C. and Mildred M. (Hobbs) Dehart.

Ron was united in marriage to Sue Critchfield on May 19, 1973. They were married for 52 until Ronald's passing.

Ron proudly served his county in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam war era.

Ron worked as a manager of various body shops though out Wichita for many years. He later retired in 2017.

Ron enjoyed spending his time fishing, doing yard work, and smoking meats. Ronald loved spending time with his grandchildren most of all.

Ron is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Ronnie Dehart of Harper, KS; daughter, Dana Dehart of Argonia, KS; daughter, Johnna (Todd) Freeman of Rose Hill, KS; daughter, Krista Harrington of Augusta, KS; grandchildren, Brad (Rachel) Dehart of Granbury, TX, Zach (Keelyn) Freeman of Andover, KS, Micaela (Austin Lindsey) Freeman of Manhattan, KS, Jessica Chandler of Texas, Xavier (Monica) Harrington of Augusta, KS, Raymond (Kaitlyn) Harrington of El Dorado, KS; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Jack Critchfield, William (Alice) Villanueva; step-mother, Joanne (Bud) Yeager; and sister, Lana (Gene) Thomas.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
