Roger William Chrislip, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Roger was born on November 20, 1931 in Manning, Kansas to Hartzil J. and Charlotte J. (France) Chrislip. Roger had previously worked as a co-owner of Augusta Auto Salvage.  He loved to golf, bowl and working with the Auto Recyclers Association. He also served as a councilman for the City of Augusta.

Roger is survived by his daughter Debbie (Larry) Holmes of Augusta; granddaughter Lorena (LaDran) Ehrlich of Augusta; great-grandchildren Matthew and Kayla Canedy; sister Joyce Thiesson of Hutchinson; 10 nieces and nephews.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patsy; daughters Theresa and Kathy; and brothers Clayton and Robert.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 28th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Funeral services will be on Monday, October 29th at 10:30 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery also in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the KS Humane Society or Amedisys Hospice Foundation, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
