Robert Patrick Murphy, 94, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Robert was born on March 17, 1922, to Robert Lee and Ina (Griffith) Murphy in El Dorado, Kansas. Robert married Mary Belle Ellis and she precedes him in death. Robert had served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Robert is survived by his daughter Sandra and husband Byrna Combs of Augusta; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary and daughters Judy and Mary Deeann.

Graveside Memorial service will be on Thursday, September 8th at 10 a.m., at the Elmwood Cemetery of Augusta, using the 12th street entrance.
