Obituary

Robert "Bob" Hubbard, 70, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.

Bob was born on Saturday, December 19, 1953 in Coral Gables, Florida to Robert Duvall and Mary Catherine (Pessalano) Hubbard.

Bob was united in Marriage to Pam Brown on January 13, 1975. They were married for 49 years.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne from 1975-1978, and in the National guard from 1978-1980.

Bob grew up in Miami Springs, FL and loved spending time at the ocean fishing and surfing. He was a talented athlete and excelled in football and track. He held the record at Miami Springs High School in discus for many years. He led the football team's defense to a miraculous season finale win. He received offers from many colleges and chose Emporia State University in Kansas. Bob also had a passion for classic cars, specifically Corvettes and 1957 Chevy's. His number one love was watching his children's sports and activities. He helped coach many of their teams and enjoyed being involved in their lives. He also had a knack for ordering unique EBAY gifts that the family looked forward to opening at Christmas. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and would often call to ask when they are coming over just after they had gone home.

Bob is survived by his wife Pam; children, Robert J. Hubbard Jr. (Stacy), Jamie Crum (Chad), Philip Hubbard (Jessie), Drew Hubbard (Kristen); grandchildren, Autum Hubbard, Damien Hubbard, Bronson Crum, Barrett Crum, Charlee Hubbard, Emersyn Hubbard, Austin Huizar, Maximus Hubbard, and Madisyn Hubbard; and brother, Dennis Hubbard.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
