Robert Myrl Butler Jr., 80, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Robert was born on Sunday, January 9, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas to Robert Myrl Sr. and Billie Alice (Pierce) Butler.

Robert proudly served in the United States Marines. Robert worked at a Mobil oil refinery for many years.

Robert enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and making his own guns. He loved his hot rod cars and motorcycles.

Robert is survived by his cousins, Arnold (Elsie) Nichols of Eureka, KS, Jerry Nichols of Ponca City, OK, and Vickie Shumake of Eureka, KS.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents.

Viewing Wednesday, April 17th from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta VFW Post 6746, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
