Richard Deford's Obituary
DeFord, Richard Warren, 60, of Augusta, loving son and brother, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2013.
Richard was born August 24, 1953, in El Dorado, Kansas. He graduated from Augusta High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Richard worked in construction and for the City of Augusta.
His survivors include his brother, Don Cowles of Augusta; sisters, Dora Hillegas, Tammy Holt, Deanna Scott and Carla Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren DeFord and Donald and Bessie (Maggard) Cowles.
In honor of Richard's request there will be no funeral service.
