Rhonda Renee (Thornton) Taylor, 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Rhonda was born on Tuesday, July 15, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Mary Ann (Payton) Thornton Jr. Rhonda graduated high school and later attended Technical School. She had worked as a Nurses Aid. She enjoyed shopping, music and jewelry. Rhonda loved animals and especially her family.

Rhonda is survived by her son Ryan (Stacey) Hagebusch; her parents Charles (Sherri) Thornton Jr and Mary Ann Thornton; cousins Kathy Tharp (Don) Thompson, Susan (Ryan) Edwards, Sandra Defever; nieces Erica (Nick) Hourigan and Aleen Marie Thornton; several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her son Chris Hagebusch and her brother Randy Thornton.

Graveside Service will be on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Kansas Humane Society, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
