Rex Walter Turner, 82, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018.

Rex was born on May 24, 1935 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Ollie and Christine (Fetters) Turner.  Rex had previously worked as a self-employed mechanic. Rex served his country in the U.S. Marines.  He loved to read, work on vehicles, watch movies, loved his puppies, enjoyed stock car racing in Denver and was an avid motorcycle rider.

Rex is survived by his wife Nancy of the home, son Mike Morris of Wichita; daughters Michelle Jaramillo and Sandy Turner both of Denver, CO; siblings, Nancy Sullivan, Wendell Turner, Richard Turner, Shera Cox; grandchildren, Justin Jaramillo, Tony Turner, Daniel Morris and Sean Morris; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Rex is preceded in death by his parents, son Kelly Turner and grandson James Jaramillo.

Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta Caring Center, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
