Relda was born April 3, 1953, to Hurshal and Jacqueline (Westerman) Rogers in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Relda attended Leon High school and later married Jim Short. They were married 41 years. Relda loved her kids and grandkids. Her family was very important to her.

Her survivors include her husband, Jim of Augusta; mother Jackie Rogers of Augusta; children, Sarah and husband Cody Krebbs of The Colony, Texas, Clint Short of Augusta; brothers Rick and wife Teresa Rogers of Wichita, Ray Rogers of Wichita, Jeff and wife Dana Rogers of Augusta, Mike Rogers of Augusta, Art and wife Vickie Rogers of Towanda; sisters Annie and husband Justin Abrahams of Whitewater, Gilda Hayes of Andover, Genie and husband Andrew Hensen of Augusta; 3 grandchildren, Mia, Sidney and Dylan.

Relda was preceded in death by her father.

Viewing will be Tuesday, November 24, from 1-5 p.m. No family time is scheduled. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25, at 2:00 p.m. Both at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, using the 12th street entrance.

Memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and may be left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
