Phyllis Joan Ulshafer, 86, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Phyllis was born on April 12, 1937 in Chanute, Kansas to James and Doris (Breedlove) John. Phyllis was united in marriage to James Ulshafer, she worked for Canteen Distribution as a food service operator for many years. Phyllis enjoyed gardening and reading.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Randy Welch of Augusta; brother, Jim John of Wichita; sister, Vickie Shue of Andover; grandchildren, Mckenzie (Tyler) Barnes, Garrett Neff, Amanda Krack, Jamie Krack and Jeremy Wilson; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; son John Allen Neff; daughter, Lonetta Marie Krack; and sister, Diane Lynn John.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21st from 5-7 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22nd at 10 a.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Humane Society of Wichita, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
