Hollingsworth, Philip Russell, 31, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014.

Philip was born November 2, 1982, to Steve and Rachel (Slawson) Hollingsworth in Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from Elwood High School in Elwood, Kansas. Philip worked at a local Augusta restaurant Zorro's. He enjoyed theatre, poetry, writing, drawing and had a passion for missions and was able to travel to Nicaragua, Mexico and Alaska on mission trips.

His survivors include his parents, Steve and Rachel Hollingsworth; brothers, Nathan and wife Deanne Hollingsworth of Andover, Kansas, Micah and wife Camille Hollingsworth of Atchison, Kansas; niece Maive Hollingsworth, daughter to Micah and Camille.

Philip was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Dinah.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, from 12-2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be Saturday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m. both at Central Baptist Church, 7421 SW Church Road in Augusta, Kansas 67010.

Directions to Central Baptist Church From Interstate 35 (Toll Road) to Exit 57.
Head west on (Toll Road) to Exit 57 go 0.2 mi. Turn right onto E 21st St. Continue onto 21st St. which turns into SW 70th St. go 2.7 mi. Turn right onto SW Church Rd. Destination will be on the right 0.5 mi.

Memorials have been established with the Central Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
