Paul Richard "Dick" Pennington, 81, passed away on February 16, 2017.

Dick was born on June 27, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri to Alfred and Lora (Elliott) Pennington.  He graduated from Augusta High School and then attended college.  He had served his country in the US Air Force.  He was married to Carlene Ushery in 1953 until she passed in 2002.  He was married to Jean Kimble in 2004 until she passed in 2010.  He married Phyllis Anderson in 2012.  Dick had worked and owned Village Decorative of Augusta since 1969.  He loved dancing, fishing, working and travel.

Dick is survived by his wife Phyllis of the home; son Rick and wife JoAnna Pennington of Augusta; sisters Dawn Anderson and Deana McCellan both of Augusta, brothers  Dennis Pennington of Udall, KS, Kim Pennington of Texas, and Dana Pennington of Nebraska; grandchildren Michael, Matt, Berry and Taylor; great-grandchildren Logan, Lilly, Eli, Amelia, Elliott and Ophelia.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents; wives Carlene and  Jean, sisters Dorine and Dorinda.

Viewing will be Monday, Feb 20th from 1-5pm and visitation with family will follow from 5-7pm at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.  Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, Feb 21st at 2:00pm at the First Christian Church in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Child Cancer Center, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
