Deichman, Olen Francis, 80, retired owner/operator of Deichman Ditching Service passed away, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his home in Augusta.

Olen was born in Winfield, Kansas to Homer Francis and Florence Ardella (Peterson) Deichman on June 6, 1930. He graduated from high school in Atlanta, Kansas and married Jaunita Pearl Baldwin on July 28, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Olen served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

His survivors include his wife Jaunita of the home; daughter Onita Altman of Olathe; two grandchildren Thalia (Jake) Lewallen and Kyla Altman and a great-granddaughter Eislee; sister-in-law Alvina Deichman of Amarillo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Loren Deichman.

Interment has already occurred and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dunsford~Zeiner Funeral Home Chapel.

A memorial has been established with Victory Worship Center, 1924 Dearborn in Augusta or in care of the funeral home.
