Norma Jean Reeves, 85, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Norma was born on Saturday, November 5, 1938 in Winfield, Kansas to Edward and Anna (Kamphaus) Spresser.

Norma was united in marriage to James Reeves on November 23, 1962 at Lawrence, Kansas. They were married for 48 years until James' passing in 2010. Norma went to school at Kansas University, where she earned her Master's degree. Norma chose a career as a physical therapist where she loved her work and helped others for many years until her retirement. Norma enjoyed spending her time traveling with her husband and friends and attending Kansas University basketball games. She especially loved women's basketball. She also had a soft spot for animals. She loved dogs and volunteering at the Kansas Humane Society.

Norma is survived by her Nieces and Nephews, Richard Brill, Lynda McDade, Cheryl Spires, Kathy McSparin, Eddie Spresser, Bruce Spresser, and Joey Spresser.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Anna Spresser, husband; James Reeves, Brother; Charles Spresser and Sister, Anna Marie Powell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 9th from 1 – 2 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta, KS.
The family wishes any Memorial Contributions be made out to the Kansas Humane Society, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
