Nicholas Larry Smith, 28, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Nicholas was born on July 20, 1989 in Wichita to Troy and Dawn (Wilbur) Smith.  Nick enjoyed people, and never met a stranger.  He liked animals, and would feed any stray lucky enough to find him.  He loved the outdoors and was always up for an adventure.  Kids loved him, as he had a knack for entertaining them.  He had a quick wit and loved to tell stories and tease.  Nick always said his favorite place to be was by the ocean, as he said it calmed him.  He spent two years in California, enjoying the ocean and learning to scuba dive.

Nicholas is survived by his parents Troy and Dawn Smith; siblings Troy Edward Smith III and Jennifer Smith all of Derby; grandmothers, Janice
Crater of Derby and Eleanor Wilbur of Webb City, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandfather's Troy Edward Smith Sr., Edward Wilbur and Jim Crater.

Visitation with family will be on Thursday, July 5 ^th from 6-8 pm at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.  Graveside Service will be on Friday, July 6 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, 521 E. 12 ^th Street, in Augusta.

Memorial contributions may be made out to Faith Baptist Church in Neosho MO, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory.
