Nellie Fern Clark, 95, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016.
Fern was born on April 25, 1920, to Jesse and Martha (Jolly) Miller in Severy, Kansas. She had attended High School in Severy. Fern was united in marriage to Ramon Clark on November 2, 1947 in Sedan, Kansas. Fern worked as a bank teller for Prairie State Bank.
Fern is survived by her son Rodney and wife Karen Clark of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren Jeffrey and wife Catherine Clark and their children Madeline, Lila and Ella; Kristin and husband Glenn Shaw and their children Ala and Clark Shaw, all of Marietta, Georgia. She is also survived by brother-in-law Dr. Ernest Clark, his children John, David, Rebecca and Paula; niece Myrna Merz, nephew Bob Cable, and sister-in-law Pauline Miller and her children Steve Miller and Marilyn.
Fern was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Glenn, Willis and Charles Miller, sisters Dorothy Miller and Helen Rader.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 12th at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, both in Augusta, KS. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, Kansas. Following the graveside service, there will be a luncheon for family and friends at the church.
