Crum, Nell (Collins), 94, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011, at Lakepoint of Augusta.
Nell was born September 16, 1916, to Sherwood and Maggie (Murphy) Collins in Baxley, Georgia. She attended cosmetology school and became a cosmetology instructor. She married James Ira Crum, he and her parents and son James Michael Crum preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter Miriam Nixon (Bill Haigler) of Leon, Kansas; six grandchildren Regina Crum Smith, Ira Trevor Tuten, Crystal Nixon Rogers, Melissa Mitchell, Amanda Haigler, Bobbie Haigler and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, from 10:00-12:00 noon at Dunsford Funeral Home. Graveside service Wednesday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. in Brunswick Memorial Cemetery, Brunswick, Georgia.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 818 North Emporia, Suite 100, Wichita, Kansas 67214, or in care of the funeral home.
