Obituary

Hufman, Naoma Maxine (Henry), 90, homemaker, restaurant cook and laundry worker at Augusta Medical Complex, passed away, Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Lakepoint of Augusta.

Naoma was born September 18, 1920, to Floyd Neal and Rena Grace (Yarger) Henry in El Dorado. She married James Wilmer Hufman on January 12, 1946, in Augusta.

Survivors include her son Larry and his wife Ralina of Junction City, Kansas; daughter Marjorie Hufman of Hillsboro, Kansas; sister Mary Henry of Towanda; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; and a sister Anna Henry.

Viewing will be from 1-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 and visitation with family greeting friends will be from 7-8 p.m. both at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at First Assembly of God Church, 3626 North Ohio, in Augusta, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Cumberland Cemetery in rural Augusta.

A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
