Nancy Katherine Parish, 86, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Nancy was born on Saturday, November 9, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to Vernon Roy Jr. and Emma Katherine (Hamilton) Patterson. Nancy was united in marriage to Robert Ward Parish Sr. on December 26, 1954 in Marianna, Arkansas. They were married for 35 years until Robert's passing in 1989. Nancy worked as a Receptionist for Wichita State University. Nancy enjoyed being a PEO member, traveling, reading, watching General Hospital, and teaching Sunday school.

Nancy is survived by her sons Robert (Lou Anne) Jr. of Silsbee, Texas, and Mark (Yvette) Parish of Mulvane, Kansas; daughters Cindy (Lyn) Hiebert of Augusta, Kansas and Susan (Ernest) Sponsel of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Carole Fly of Atlanta, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Sandra Remmert.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; granddaughter Mandi Thornburg, brother Bill Patterson.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at LifeChange Church in Wichita.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Meals on Wheels or the Central Christian Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
