Myrtle "Jean" Logsdon, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Jean was born on Wednesday, October 9, 1935 in Eureka, Kansas to Raymond and Leota (Reed) Thomlinson.

Jean was united in marriage to Robert "Dwain" Logsdon on October 31, 1953 in El Dorado. They were married for 37 years. Dwain passed in 2012.

Jean worked as a housekeeper and paper carrier for many years.

When she was not inside with her cats (Ginger, Charlie, and Susie), Jean enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching people pass by. She would occasionally get someone to stop and talk or wave. She also loved watching "Wipeout", "American Ninja Warrior" and "America's Funniest Videos".

Jean is survived by her son, Lee (Debbie) Logsdon; daughter, Sherri (Bob) Frey; grandchildren, Ryan (Beka) Logsdon, Mandy (Tim) Stark, and Sarah (Chris) Brock, along with eight great-grandchildren.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Norma Hicks; sister, Colleen Thompson; and brother, Darrel Tomlinson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, KS.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Wichita Animal Action League (WAAL), left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
