Myra Dene Caroline Clark, 88, passed away on December 14, 2017.

Myra Dene was born on August 27, 1929 in Ernestville, Missouri to Edgar D. and Verna C. (Kappelmann) Kessner.  On August 24, 1947, Myra Dene married John Crawford Clark in Augusta, Kansas.  Myra Dene had worked for the City Clerk at Augusta City Hall for 10 years. She loved cooking, baking, knitting, and over the years she had made over 600 Christmas stockings for friends and family in Augusta.

Myra Dene is survived by her children Chris (Rosemary) Clark of Afton, OK, Ann (Jim) Jackson of Augusta, KS, Scott Clark of Augusta, KS; sister Phyllis (Loren) Roberts of Augusta, KS; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Myra Dene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, sister Eugenia Nordman, grandchild Robbie Clark.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, December 19th, at 11 am at Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Christ Lutheran Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
