Mildred M. Trotter, 99 years, 8 months, and 17 days, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Mildred was born on Monday, June 9, 1924 in Leon, Kansas to William Clay and Etta Mae (Hartwell) Selvage.

Mildred was united in marriage to Eugene V. Trotter in 1951 until Eugene's passing in 1996. Mildred was very proud to finish high school at Bluestem High School in Leon at the age of 95 in 2019. Mildred enjoyed spending time doing puzzles, cooking, and gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren most of all.

Mildred is survived by her son, Wes Trotter; daughter, Teena J. Ross; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 still born children, siblings, Walter Selvage, Gladys Baker, Virgil Selvage, Leland Selvage, Clifford Selvage, Charles Selvage, and Louise Willing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 1 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta LakePoint Nursing Home, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
