Mary Elaine Woosley (Huntington), 67, passed away suddenly at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas on Tuesday, August 31, 2010.

Mary was born to James and Pauline (Wessels) Huntington on November 13, 1942 in Maryville, Missouri. On December 8, 1976 she married Melvin Woosley in Lenox, Iowa.

Mary worked with her mother in the health field and after graduating from high school studied and obtained her nursing degree. She worked for many years as a nurse. She later moved to Augusta where she worked as a clerk at the local Walmart and also spend a lot of time enjoying her daughter and family.

She was preceded her in death by her parents, James and Pauline and her husband, Melvin.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Nina (Jim) Barton of Augusta; two grandchildren Jacob Barton and Austin (Caitlyn) Barton all of Augusta; and one great-granddaughter Emma. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. both at the funeral home. Internment will be on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Graceland Cemetery in Creston, Iowa.
