Willing, Mary Louise (Selvage), 85, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Lakepoint of Augusta.
Mary was born September 8, 1928, in Leon, Kansas to William Clay and Etta Mae (Hartwell) Selvage. Mary married Richard Dean Willing on June 9, 1954, in Augusta. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her flower garden, walking, watching college basketball and professional baseball.
Her survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Thomas Eagleson and Janice and Mark Pickarts all of Augusta; a sister Mildred Trotter also of Augusta; eight grandchildren, Candace (Ed) Ratcliff, Christyn (Ryan) Atchison, Travis (Jennifer) Eagleson, Matthew Lietzke, Nicholas Lietzke, Nicole (Jesse) Young Jr., Matthew (Samantha) Pickarts, Marcus (Teresa) Pickarts; ten great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Griffin, Reese, Emmary, Dalaney, Broc, Hadleigh, Titus, Gage and Bo.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; grandson, Nathan Lietzke; five brothers, Walter, Leland, Virgil, Clifford and Charles Selvage; one sister Gladys Baker.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 3, from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service Monday, August 4, at 10:00 a.m. both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
A memorial has been established with The Kansas Eye Bank in care of the funeral home.
