Mary Lou Berrier, age 74, passed away on March 6, 2016.

Mary was born on July 2, 1941 the daughter of William and Pearl (Mooneyham) Lamar in Coffeyville, Kansas. Mary was united in marriage to Rick Laing on December 21, 1959 in Concordia, Kansas and was later united in marriage to Donald Berrier on April 18, 1968 in Concordia, Kansas. Mary was a member of the Cherryvale Assembly of God Church and worked at the Cherry Bowl. She enjoyed sewing her kids clothes, serving people, cooking, baking, gardening, and she was proud of her roses and tomatoes.

Mary is survived by her children, Rick and wife Miranda Laing of Leon Kansas, Kathy and husband Jeff Owen of Cherryvale, Kansas, Greg and partner Tina Streeter of Owego, New York, Jodi and husband Wade Moss of Glasco, Kansas; brother Bobby Lamar of Lindsborg, Kansas; sister Shirley and husband Larry Sell of Strasberg, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Rick Laing and Donald Berrier; brother, Billy Lamar; sister Virginia Buttermore.

Family will be conducting memorial services on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cherryvale Assembly of God Church in Cherryvale, Kansas 305 East Main Street.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory of Augusta, Kansas.
