Bensen, Mary Ann, 71, retired Butler County Department of Aging office manager, passed away, Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

Mary was born June 28, 1940, to Walter Bernard and Mary Cecelia (Konzal) Bensen in Brooklyn, New York.

Survivors include her sons Donald Yates, Douglas (Linda) Yates all of El Dorado, David (Elizabeth) Yates and Dale (Johna) Yates all of Augusta; daughters Ann Marie (Clete Heady) Malson-Heady of Parsons, Kansas; brothers Thomas (Shirley) Bensen of Mint Hill, North Carolina, Walter (Judy) Bensen of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Carl Bensen of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, John (Joann) Bensen, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, William (Susan) Bensen of Greenville, New York, Theodore (Phyllis) Bensen of Staten Island, New York; sisters Elsie (Billy) Wroblewski of Bayone, New Jersey, Cecelia Bensen of Staten Island, New York; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons Levi Yates and Douglas Yates, Jr.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel.
