Mark Anthony Pickarts, 67, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Mark was born on Sunday, April 28, 1957 in Sauk City, Wisconsin to Donald and Ruth (Beers) Pickarts.

Mark was united in marriage to Janice Willing. They were married for 32 years until Mark's passing.

Mark owned his own roofing company "Pickarts Roofing" for many years. He also did oil field work and truck driving.

Mark enjoyed fishing, shooting sporting clays, riding his Harley-Davidson, bowling with his sons, and was a big Packers fan.

Mark is survived by his wife Janice, of Cassoday, KS; children, Matthew (Samantha) Pickarts of Augusta, KS and Marcus (Teresa) Pickarts of Augusta, KS; step-children, Matthew Lietzke, Nick Lietzke, and Nicole Young; grandson, Gage Pickarts; step-grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Camryn Taylor, and Colten Taylor; siblings, Mike (Joyce) Wiley, Pat (Lisa) Pickarts, John Pickarts, Peter Pickarts, Mary Jo (Ken) Pruess, Paulette Swartz, and David Pickarts.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents and sister Roxanne Pickarts.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, Kansas. Following the service the family would like to invite everyone to the Holiday Bowl (310 State St. Augusta, KS 67010) to spend time together doing something Mark loved.
