Wichita - Marjorie Cox, Age 84, of Rosehill passed away on April 30th, 2015.

Marjorie was born January 31st, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy and Marjorie (Hobbs) Tompkins. She was united in marriage to Leland Cox on March 19, 1949 in Kansas City Missouri at the Salvation Army Church. Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and crafts.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Leland L. Cox of Rosehill, Kansas; children, Cindy Shea of Augusta, Kansas, Jennifer and husband Mark Thielen of Lambertville, Michigan, Leland W. and wife Joy Cox of Wichita, Kansas, Marjorie Herman of Oxford, Kansas; brother Ronald and wife Terry Tompkins of Topeka, Kansas; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy Tompkins and Kenny Tompkins and grandchild Michael Cox.

A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Visitation will be on Monday, may 4th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. both at the Salvation Army Church, 1739 S. Elpyco Street, Wichita, Kansas.
