Marion Fay Dennett, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

Marion was born on Friday, October 29, 1937 in Augusta, Kansas to Leo Glen and Eleanor Marguerite (Sharon) Dennett.  He had previously worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for L.A. Knebler Construction.  Marion enjoyed going to garage sales, watching sports and going to the Senior Center for dinner.  He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Marion is survived by his daughter Lee Anne and husband Jeb Burress of Augusta; son Bryan and wife Debbie Dennett of Winfield; grandchildren Justin Burress, Matt Dennett, Zachary Dennett, Savannah and husband Davis Drake, and Cameron Dennett.

Marion is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Robert Dennett, Clarence Dennett, Helen Scobee and his granddaughter Devin Burress.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 13, from 3-5 p.m and Funeral Service will be on Monday October 14, at 11 a.m. both at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Private family graveside services will be held after his Funeral Service.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta Senior Center, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
