Madonna Fern Seymour's Obituary
Seymour, Madonna Fern (Seibert), 85, homemaker, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio, Augusta.
Madonna was born November 21, 1926, to Wendell Otha and Dorothy Irene (Haskins) Seibert in El Dorado, Kansas. She married Russell James Seymour in El Dorado on June 18, 1948.
Survivors include her husband Russell of almost 64 years of Augusta, Kansas; daughters Sondra (Kenneth) Franklin of Beloit, Kansas, Denise (Mike) Callanan of Park City, Kansas, Tammy Cline of Augusta; son Rex (Kelly) Seymour of Mulvane, Kansas; sister Delores "Doris" (Marvin) Higgs of Augusta; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Madonna was preceded in death by her parents Wendell and Dorothy Seibert; an infant daughter Theresa Seymour; and a sister Irene Humphries.
A memorial has been established with Aseracare Hospice, 112 West Pine, El Dorado, Kansas 67042 or in care of the funeral home.
