LuElla Irene Tong, 84, passed away on May 7, 2017.

LuElla was born May 14, 1932 in Elmo, Kansas to Henry and Clara (Moot) Bliss.  She had worked at Boeing. She was united in marriage to Larry Tong on February 13, 1971 in Wichita. She enjoyed bingo, bridge club, and her flowers. LuElla loved her family and spending time with them.

LuElla is survived by her children, Larry and wife Debbie Holmes of Augusta, Florence and husband Ronald Hoover of Potwin, Ernest Holmes of Wichita, Donald and wife Sandy Holmes of Edinburg, TX, Larry Tong II, of El Dorado; stepchildren, Timothy and wife Tresa Tong of Oxford, Larry Michael and wife Doreen Tong, of Winfield, Debbie Gordon of Wichita; brothers Maurice Bliss of Wichita, Jimmy Bliss of Derby and Alvin Bliss of Broken Arrow, OK; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

LuElla is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry, son Michael, brothers, Kenneth, Arnold, Lavern and Melvin; sisters, Alice, Ruby, Dorothy, Henrietta and Helen.

Visitation with family will be on Thursday, May 11th from  5-7 P.M. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.  Funeral Service will be on Friday May 12th at 2:00 P.M. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta. Interment will take place at the Leon Cemetery.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Leon Senior Center, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
