Rush, Lowell "Hayden", 78, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Kansas Veteran's Home in Winfield.

Hayden was born January 21, 1932 in Melbourne, Arkansas to John Matthew and Della Lillian (Finley) Rush. He worked in the oil fields, had a fix-it shop and a small engine repair business where he also made keys. Hayden loved to read his Bible and preach and also loved 3 Musketeer candy bars!

His survivors include his brother and his wife John and "Jimmie" Rush of Wichita; children Lowell and Lola of Texas and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jay; brothers Ray, Otto, Robert and Otis Rush; sisters May Wolf, Ovita White, Eunice Brandon and Imodene Hadlow.

Graveside service will be held Monday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Douglass Cemetery in Douglass, Kansas.
